Job summary

The Sporting Globe is opening its largest venue yet in Greensborough, Victoria, and seeks an experienced Full Time Gaming Manager to lead the new gaming operation from day one. You will recruit, coach and coach a high-performing team, own compliance, and deliver an exceptional guest gaming experience.

Take ownership of day-to-day operations, build relationships with regulars and the local community, and work with the Venue Manager to drive performance across a multi-level venue.

Qualifications

• You know gaming.
• Strong gaming venue experience and ownership mindset.
• You understand how exceptional service, compliance and commercial performance work together.
• Confident people leader who can grow a team and set clear expectations.
• Organised and commercially switched on, responsible for performance and compliance.
• Holds Victorian gaming and responsible service certifications required for the role.

• Own gaming compliance, responsible gambling requirements and operational standards.

• Work closely with the Venue Manager and leadership team across a large multi-level operation.
• Maintain standards on the floor and from opening day onward.

This November, The Sporting Globe is opening its biggest venue yet right here in Greensborough.

And we’re looking for an experienced Full Time Gaming Manager to take the lead of our brand new gaming operation and join the opening leadership team.

This is your opportunity to build something from the ground up. You’ll help recruit and develop your team, set the standards, own the gaming experience and make sure our guests have a reason to keep coming back.

Work closely with the Venue Manager and broader leadership team across a huge multi level operation

Stay across what’s happening on the floor and make sure standards never slip

Help build the culture, systems and standards of a brand new gaming operation from opening day

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• You know gaming.
• You’ve got strong gaming venue experience and you’re ready to take real ownership of an operation, not just manage a shift.
• You understand that a great gaming venue is built on relationships. You know your regulars, create a welcoming environment and understand how exceptional service, compliance and commercial performance all work together.
• You’re a confident people leader who can build a strong team, set clear expectations and have the conversations that need to happen when standards aren’t being met.
• You’re organised, commercially switched on and comfortable taking responsibility for the performance and compliance of your department.
• You’ll also hold the relevant Victorian gaming and responsible service certifications required for the role.
