Job summary

Peden’s Hotel, part of Redcape Hotel Group, is seeking an experienced Gaming Attendant with a leadership pathway in Newcastle’s vibrant hospitality scene. You’ll deliver attentive service, manage gaming transactions, and monitor the gaming floor with a focus on responsible gambling.

Join a supportive team at a lively venue in Cessnock, with training and opportunities to grow into leadership as you develop your skills across more than 50 Redcape venues.

Qualifications

• Gaming experience on a pub/hotel/club floor.
• Customer service oriented with a proactive approach to lifting standards.
• Aspiring leader with the ability to take on more responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of responsible gambling and compliance requirements.
• Availability across weekdays, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, personal service and build relationships with regulars.
• Complete gaming transactions, payouts and cash handling accurately.
• Monitor the gaming room and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Maintain presentation, compliance and responsible gambling standards.
• Support gaming promotions and collaborate with the gaming team.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience on every shift.
