Job summary

Cessnock Leagues Club is seeking enthusiastic Bar & Gaming Attendants to join the team as part of a major redevelopment and new restaurant opening. You will work across bar, gaming and events, delivering friendly, professional service to members and guests.

We value reliability, positive attitudes and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment. RSA is required; RCG is preferred or can be obtained after joining the team.

• Team orientation and reliable, friendly service.
• RSA card is essential; RCG preferred or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service to members and guests.
• Take beverage and food orders.
• Prepare and serve beverages.
• Support gaming operations and responsible gambling practices.
• Maintain clean and organized service areas.
• Assist during functions, promotions and busy periods.

With a major redevelopment now complete, including the opening of a brand-new restaurant and upgraded hospitality spaces, they are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar & Gaming Attendants to join the team.

About the Role

As a Bar & Gaming Attendant, you may work across various areas of the Club including:

• Bar service
• Gaming operations
• Functions and events
• General customer service, reception and venue presentation

You will help create a welcoming atmosphere while delivering friendly, professional and efficient service.

Day to day you may be:

• Delivering customer service to members and guests
• Taking beverage and food orders
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Supporting gaming operations and responsible gambling practices
• Maintaining clean and organised service areas
• Assisting during functions, promotions and busy service periods

About You

You are reliable, energetic and enjoy working with people. You take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

You will bring:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and professional presentation
• Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays
• RSA Competency Card (essential)
• RCG Competency Card (preferred or willingness to obtain)
• A willingness to learn and contribute across different areas of the Club
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
