Job summary

Blacktown Workers Club Group is seeking an experienced Gaming Analyst for a part-time role (~20 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends) in New South Wales. You will maintain gaming systems, run reports, investigate discrepancies and provide insights for operational decisions.

The role demands strong data skills, 2+ years in gaming reporting, and RSA/RCG competencies. On-site at Blacktown with salary above award terms and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in gaming within a licensed club or casino environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Gaming Analyst or in a gaming reporting role.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience with gaming systems and data.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify variance causes.
• Strong communication with Gaming, Finance and operations teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete accounting and reconciliation for payouts, notes, cashless clearances and gaming links.
• Perform gaming cashflow analysis and variance checks (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Prepare and distribute EGM reports to stakeholders.
• Maintain IGT CLUB and other gaming systems.
• Complete cashless and MAG card reporting and investigations.
• Investigate gaming discrepancies and follow up actions.
• Collaborate with Finance to balance reports and reconciliations.
• Support team with queries and ad hoc gaming reports.
• Identify trends and provide insights to inform decisions.

Job description

Workers Group is a leading hospitality and entertainment group, operating venues that bring together dining, entertainment, events, sport and community.

We are looking for an experienced and analytical Gaming Analyst to join our Gaming Team and play an important role in supporting the accuracy and performance of our gaming operations.

The Role

This is a part-time position working approx. 20 hours per week across 5 days, with flexibility required across days, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting and reconciliation of:
• Payouts and tickets
• Note clearances
• Cashless clearances
• Gaming links
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly gaming cashflow analysis and variance checks.
• Complete and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly EGM reports to key stakeholders.
• Maintain and administer the IGT CLUB Gaming System and other web-based gaming systems as required.
• Complete cashless and MAG card reporting, including checks, investigations and adjustments.
• Investigate gaming discrepancies and ensure appropriate adjustments and follow-up actions are completed.
• Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure gaming reports and financial reconciliations balance accurately.
• Assist Gaming Team members and managers with gaming system queries and issues.
• Investigate and respond to customer gaming-related complaints and disputes.
• Prepare ad hoc gaming reports and analysis as requested.
• Identify trends, variances and issues within gaming data and provide meaningful information to support operational decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with club procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Gaming Team with other reporting and analytical requirements as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in gaming within a registered licensed club or casino environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Gaming Analyst or similar gaming reporting role. Strong understanding of gaming operations, EGM reporting and gaming reconciliations.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience working with gaming systems and data.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify the cause of variances.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Gaming, Finance and operational teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
