Job summary

Airtree Ventures, Sydney-based venture fund manager, seeks a generalist Operations & Compliance professional to run compliance calendars, AML/CTF tasks, and investor operations across multiple funds and continents. You will also manage IT/security providers, drive process improvements, and help scale the in-house operations platform with a practical, hands-on approach.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, project scoping, and collaboration with our Compliance & Operations Lead.

Qualifications

2 years in fund operations, compliance or operational risk at a fund manager, AFSL holder, fund administrator or professional services firm.
Alternative background: 2 years of operational work in business, finance or technology with capacity to own end-to-end processes.

Responsibilities

Keep the firm compliant: manage calendar, lodge reports, AML/CTF duties, and fund obligations.
Run investor and investment operations: onboarding, KYC, DDQ, investor records.
Own providers and tools: manage IT/security providers, conduct reviews, maintain registers.
Make Airtree run better: scope projects, build/extend in-house platform, measure outcomes.
