Job summary

Lion Pty Ltd is seeking a Functional Consultant - SAP Procurement (P2P) to join our Technology team in Sydney. You will partner with Procurement leaders to shape SAP solutions and drive meaningful transformation across Lion’s SAP landscape.

In this role, you will lead solution design, balance business value with simplicity, and collaborate with developers and internal SAP teams to deliver end-to-end SAP procurement outcomes. Experience with VIM and Ariba is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP experience in Procurement / P2P.
• Experience with SAP VIM and AP integration.
• Knowledge of SAP MM and Ariba in end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.

The Role

We’re looking for a Functional Consultant - SAP Procurement (P2P) to join our Technology team at York Street. Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, you’ll partner closely with Procurement stakeholders to shape solution design, influence priorities and deliver impactful SAP outcomes across Lion.

• Partner with Procurement leaders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions
• Lead solution design and improvement across SAP procurement systems, balancing business value, simplicity and long-term sustainability
• Focus on key priorities within a complex delivery pipeline and backlog of initiatives
• Influence solution direction by balancing business priorities, operational efficiency and long-term value
• Collaborate with developers, technology partners and internal SAP teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying automation and optimisation opportunities
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Procurement and Technology to support transformation initiatives
• Challenge thinking constructively by identifying smarter, more innovative ways to solve business problems

About You

As well as extensive SAP experience, you will bring strong business partnering capability, commercial acumen and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders across complex enterprise environments, you’ll also bring:

• Deep experience working across SAP Procurement / Procure-to-Pay environments
• Experience with SAP VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), including invoice processing, workflow approvals, and AP integration.
• Knowledge of SAP MM and Ariba, supporting end-to-end procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Strong understanding of procurement business processes and enterprise system integration
• Experience working in highly business-facing roles with senior stakeholder engagement
• The ability to influence conversations, challenge priorities and shape solution outcomes
• A proactive mindset with a focus on innovation, simplification and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business language
