Job summary

Dollar curtains + blinds is seeking a full-time Interior Sales Consultant to join our Fyshwick team. You will deliver excellent customer service, guide clients through the sales process, and drive sales for our window furnishings range.

Key responsibilities include building relationships for repeat business, meeting KPIs, and collaborating with the installation team to ensure smooth projects. A valid full driver’s license and passion for interior design are required.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in the home décor or related industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work full days Monday - Friday 9:00-5:00 and Saturday 9:00 - 3:00.
• Valid driver’s license (full license).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
• Enabling positivity in the tougher customer conversations.
• Passion for Interior Design.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers visiting our showroom or via phone/email.
• Guide customers through the sales process, offering expert advice and product knowledge.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with our installation team to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process for our customers.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to better serve our customers.
