Job summary

CATERING HQ JERVIS BAY in Huskisson, NSW, is hiring full-time Chefs and Cooks for a busy waterfront venue. The role offers a permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week, with four weeks annual leave and salary plus super.

Candidates should have relevant industry qualification and 1–2 years' experience in a similar role, and be available nights, weekends and school holidays. You will excel at prep, cooking and plating, contribute to menu planning and food cost control, maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills.
• Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes.
• Experience in menu planning and food cost control.
• A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS.
• Ability to train our junior team and assist with rostering.

Responsibilities

• Stock ordering and assist with rostering.
• Labour cost control and rostering support.
• Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs.
• Discuss customer requirements with the front of house team.
