Job summary

Marken is seeking a Warehouse Sorter to join a fast-growing global logistics team in Melbourne. This permanent full-time role covers temperature-controlled packaging preparation, inbound/outbound scanning, and loading/unloading duties across the warehouse network.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in logistics warehousing or courier companies is essential.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Stock take and inventory management skills.
• Experience in medical/pharma or perishable goods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare temperature-controlled packaging for shipments.
• Scan inbound and outbound freight.
• Load and unload trucks and vans.
• Maintain and upkeep of warehouse.
• Local courier runs to Metro and regional areas.
• Perform regular stocktakes and manage inventory orders.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and ensure correct dispatch.

The Role: Warehouse Sorter

Permanent Full Time

We have a unique opportunity available for someone to join a great team as a Warehouse Sorter.

Daily duties include but not limited to:

• Preparing required temperature-controlled packaging for shipments.
• Scanning of inbound freight / outbound freight.
• Loading and unloading of trucks and vans.
• General maintenance and upkeep of warehouse.
• Local courier runs when required (delivery and collection of freight from Metro and regional areas)
• Perform regular stocktake and inventory orders.
• Strictly maintain and follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ensure all outbound freight accounted for and dispatched correctly.
