Job summary

Labourforce is assisting a leading logistics provider to recruit Freight Handlers / Parcel Sorters for our Granville warehouse. You will sort, label and route parcels, assist with loading/unloading, and help maintain accurate stock records in a busy, safety-focused environment.

Roster includes Monday to Sunday with early starts (5am–8am), weekend overtime and ongoing opportunities. Previous warehouse experience and the ability to work flexibly are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, especially freight sorting.
• Current Police Check desirable; we can assist if you do not have one.
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work a flexible roster including early starts, weekends and overtime.
• Own reliable transport required.
• Police check no older than 6 months or willing to apply.

• Efficiently sort and handle parcels and freight according to established procedures. Ensure accurate labelling and routing of packages.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from delivery trucks and containers.

We are looking for dedicated Freight Handlers / Parcel Sorters to join our dynamic team based in Granville.

Job Description

As a Freight Handler / Parcel Sorter, you will play a crucial role in the movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for sorting, handling, and processing parcels and freight with precision and care. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Position Brief

• Monday – Sunday working roster (must be able to work weekends and required overtime)
• Pay rate $44.26 Per hour + Penalties
• Ongoing work for successful applicants
• Commence ASAP
• Shift start time will predominantly be between 5am - 8am start times (Flexibility will be required to be successful)
• Due to varying volume and requirements, flexibility to start later and finish later will be required

Responsibilities

To Be Successful

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, particularly in freight sorting highly advantageous
• Current Police Check Highly Desirable (we can assist if you do not have one)
• Current Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to undertake repetitive manual and physical tasks

• Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail in sorting and handling packages.
