Job summary

Gilhooleys Irish Pubs and Restaurants in Brisbane is seeking a professional Cook to join our energetic kitchen team. You’ll work under a dedicated Head Chef in a fast-paced, friendly environment where staff feel like family.

We value 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience, the ability to cover a 5-day roster across seven days, trade qualifications or equivalent, strong food hygiene, and excellent communication with the team to deliver top quality, consistently.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a professional kitchen.
• Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
• Must have qualifications or trade experience equivalent.
• Flexible and willing attitude with clear communication and customer service skills.
• Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation.
• Ability to manage your own sections and deliver high-quality food.
• Pride in food presentation and top quality.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Food Hygiene compliance and practices.
• Rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
• Approx. 38 hrs per week.
