Job summary

Australian Christian College Casey seeks a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work alongside teachers and the Learning Support team to provide practical assistance to students requiring extra support to engage in their learning and school life.

Qualifications

• Provide individual and small-group learning support under teaching staff.
• Assist students to access and participate in classroom activities.
• Support students with learning, behavioural, social or emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group learning support under the direction of teaching staff.
• Assist students to access and participate in classroom learning activities.
• Support students with additional learning, behavioural, social or emotional needs.
• Implement strategies and adjustments identified by teachers and the Learning Support team.
• Assist teachers with the preparation and organisation of learning resources.
• Support students to develop independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
• Contribute to a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
