Job summary

Burger Road Werribee is seeking a skilled full-time Cook to join our busy kitchen in Werribee, VIC. You will prepare and cook burgers, parmas, tacos, seafood and other dishes across a expanded menu, ensuring taste, portion control and timely service.

The successful candidate will have a relevant Diploma or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and at least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen, with flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Food safety, portion control, and kitchen hygiene knowledge.
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook a variety of menu items including burgers, tacos, parmas, seafood and more.
• Grill, fry and cook ingredients using commercial techniques and monitor temperatures.
• Ensure meals are portioned and presented to quality standards; manage multiple orders.
• Store food safely, rotate stock and maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
