Superior Meats is seeking a full-time butcher for our Shellharbour shop, offering consistent hours and a mix of production and customer service. You will join a supportive team in a busy, community-focused environment and contribute to high-quality meat preparation and presentation.

Ideal candidates have hands-on butcher experience, strong knife skills, and a commitment to food safety, customer care, and teamwork. Must have Australian working rights and be able to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Qualified butcher or significant hands-on experience in the trade.
• Strong knife skills and attention to detail.
• Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Break down, prepare, and present a wide range of meat cuts to high standards.
• Operate machinery safely (bandsaw, mincer, slicer, etc.).
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and OH&S practices.
• Serve customers with professionalism and strong product knowledge.
• Assist with stock rotation, packing, labelling, and merchandising.
