Mingara Recreation Club is seeking a Full-Time Baker to join our hospitality team on the Central Coast. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will prepare breads, pastries, and cakes, delivering consistent quality for our guests.

This role suits someone with baking experience, a passion for food safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen. Early mornings, weekends, and public holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a baking, pastry, or commercial kitchen environment.
• Genuine passion for baking and creating high-quality products.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
• Ensure products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene procedures.
• Assist with stock control and daily kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver great guest experiences.
