Job summary

Darumatic Cloud Native in Canberra is recruiting three Senior Power Platform Software Engineers to oversee software development projects, write optimized code, and provide technical leadership for a team of engineers. You will contribute to the in-flight portal project, myAMSA, aligning with digital-first maritime regulation and streamlined business processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Strong full-stack development with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL; integrate frontend with backend services.
• Strong frontend with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS; Vue.js or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies (API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in multidisciplinary delivery teams.

About the Role:

Our client is currently seeking three Senior Power Platform Software Engineers (Developers) to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and providing technical leadership to a team of software engineers. You will join an in flight portal project program, myAMSA, which supports the agency's organisational strategy by delivering a digital first approach to maritime regulation, improving customer experience, and streamlining business processes. Working cohesively within small IT project teams alongside business units, your primary focus will be expanding this in house portal and ensuring the quality and functionality of the software produced.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee software development projects, ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of the software produced.
• Write clean, optimised, and maintainable code across the full technology stack.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to a team of software engineers.
• Design and implement solutions using established application architectures, development patterns, and reusable components.
• Work collaboratively and perform cohesively within small, multidisciplinary IT delivery teams and closely with business stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Strong full-stack development skills, including experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL, and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience in modern frameworks such as Vue.js.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Power Automate.
• Experience working with established application architectures, Azure DevOps, source control, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proven ability to work in multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Desirables

• Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies, such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI, or agent-based solutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure, or AI will be highly regarded.

Must Haves

• Must have a Baseline Security Clearance (preference given to current holders of a Baseline or higher clearance). Australian Citizenship required.
• Ability to provide a one-page pitch (maximum 5000 characters) addressing all specified criteria.
• A genuine interest in working in a small organisation and being a good fit for a high-performing team.
