Job summary

Mitti, part of SafetyCulture, is seeking a Software Engineer II in Sydney to design, build and maintain features across frontend and backend, with a focus on React and the potential to grow Go skills. You’ll join the Act group working on Assets and related products, collaborating with product, design and other engineers, including mobile teammates, to ship end‑to‑end improvements.

This is a hybrid role with time at the Surry Hills HQ; Mitti offers equity, flexible work, training, wellbeing

Qualifications

• Solid experience with React and building scalable frontend systems.
• Exposure to Go and backend services is a plus.
• Comfort working across frontend and backend and learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain features across frontend and backend with a React focus and Go growth.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on core work and address high-impact customer problems.
• Improve and extend existing products with clean, maintainable code.
• Migrate frontend features to a new architecture as part of a cross-team initiative.
• Use AI coding tools judiciously within the workflow.
