Job summary

Professional Search Group is seeking an experienced Full Stack or Backend Developer to join a product-focused engineering team building a large-scale software platform used across mining operations in Western Australia.

You'll design, develop and deliver features from concept to production, working with engineers, architects and product stakeholders to create reliable, scalable solutions deployed to live mine sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET.
• Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with SQL Server.
• Experience with Entity Framework or a similar ORM.
• Experience developing React applications, ideally using component libraries such as MUI, Mantine or shadcn.
• Familiarity with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand or MobX.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Desirable).
• Exposure to C++ or integration with native systems (Desirable).
• Experience within the mining, resources or industrial technology sectors, particularly open-pit mining systems (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET.
• Build event-driven microservices and scalable APIs.
• Develop and maintain modern React-based user interfaces.
• Take ownership of features throughout the full development lifecycle, from technical design through to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely with product teams, domain experts and solution architects.
• Maintain high standards of code quality through peer reviews, automated testing and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to system performance, reliability, scalability and observability.
