Job summary

Mode Talent Pty Ltd's Aussie Scale Up – Data company in Melbourne CBD is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to join an engineering team based in Melbourne. The role offers hybrid work in Melbourne CBD and exposure to US-based government and enterprise customers.

You will work across the platform from telemetry collection to building experiences in web apps and data pipelines, with API-first development and a eye on scale, security and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, React, and Go or similar languages.
• Expert in API development with a good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure as code: Terraform (preferred), AWS CloudFormation / SAM / CDK, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps best practices, Kubernetes, Container Orchestration, and Serverless infrastructures.
• Proficiency in SQL and DBMS such as PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redshift, Clickhouse, and similar.
• Experience with CI/CD workflow tools (i.e. GitHub Actions, Buildkite Pipelines or AWS Workflows).
• A good understanding of Cloud Security best practices is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Our client is scaling up and is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join their team.

Full Stack engineers have exposure to all parts of the platform, from collecting telemetry to building experiences within web apps and across data pipelines and back-end APIs
