Job summary

Lowes Petroleum is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination driver to deliver fuel across the Townsville region. You will report to the Depot Manager and ensure safe, timely deliveries to customer sites and service stations, while adhering to fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving heavy combination vehicles, preferably fuel tankers or dangerous goods.
• Current HC/MC driver’s licence with a strong, safe driving history.
• Dangerous Goods (DG) licence and relevant tanker experience highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility and workplace safety requirements.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused with good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fuel tanker vehicles to deliver fuel to customer sites and service stations.
• Complete loading, unloading and fuel transfer procedures in accordance with safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and ensure all equipment is maintained and roadworthy.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork and compliance documentation.
• Provide professional customer service while adhering to company policies, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

Job description

We are looking for experienced Heavy Combination driver to join our team in Townsville.Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers within theregion.
