Job summary

Lowes Petroleum is seeking an experienced Heavy Combination driver to join our Townsville team. You will safely deliver fuel to customer sites and service stations across the region, reporting to the Depot Manager.

We offer a permanent, full-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 70 hours per fortnight plus a flat hourly rate for overtime, uniforms and PPE, and a proactive HSSE support network. Training provided by driver trainers to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience driving heavy combination vehicles, preferably fuel tankers or dangerous goods.
• DG licence and tanker experience highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fuel tanker vehicles to deliver to customer sites and service stations.
• Complete loading, unloading and fuel transfer procedures per safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure equipment is maintained and roadworthy.
• Maintain delivery records and paperwork in line with procedures.
• Provide professional customer service while adhering to policies and safety requirements.
