Job summary

Lowes Petroleum in Orange, NSW, is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid driver to join our team. You will deliver fuel safely to customers across the region, reporting to the Depot Manager.

This permanent, full-time role offers a guaranteed minimum of 70 hours per fortnight plus overtime allowances, uniforms and PPE, comprehensive training, and a safety-first workplace supported by our HSSE team. You will perform pre-start checks, manage log books, and build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid HR Licence and experience in an HR vehicle.
• Fuel industry experience is beneficial but not required.
• Lowes can assist in obtaining Dangerous Goods licence, SLP, BFM and medical fitness where appropriate.
• Clean driving record and a commitment to safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Loading, transportation and delivery of fuel products to retail, commercial, agricultural & industrial customers.
• Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Manage fatigue and log book duties.
• Develop and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance and safety at all times.
• Carry out duties within set timeframes and follow instructions.

We are looking for experienced Heavy Rigid drivers to join our team in Orange. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers within theregion.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Loading, transportation and delivery of fuel products to retail, commercial, agricultural & industrial customers
• Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
• Manage fatigue and perform log book duties
• Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers
• Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
• Carry out all duties within set timeframes and follow instructions

Skills and Experience:

• Must have a valid HRLicence and experience in an HRvehicle
• Fuel experience beneficial, however not necessary
• Lowes are able to assist in obtaining the following requirements where appropriate:
  • Dangerous Goods licence considered an advantage
  • SLP is considered an advantage
  • BFM Statement of Attainment
  • Commercial Driver Medical Fitness
