Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a frontline Care Assistant specializing in nutrition and dining to support residents with meals in our aged care setting. You will help with preparation, delivery and presentation of meals, ensuring a person-centred dining experience.

Experience in a kitchen or restaurant is valued; you will work with the team to respect resident preferences, manage meal timing, and uphold food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.
• Provide care and support aligned with residents’ routines with a focus on meals.
• Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences.
• Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes.
• Maintain accurate nutrition and diet information as required.
• Assist with quality food preparation in line with Food Safety Plan and Dining Framework.
• Assist with maintaining kitchen stock supplies.
