Job summary

nbn is seeking an experienced Business Change and Readiness Lead to own end-to-end change for assigned initiatives. You’ll assess impacts across people, process and technology, and coordinate delivery with project and operations teams to ensure readiness and safe deployment.

You will tailor communications for a blue-collar workforce, create practical field materials, and partner with training and operational teams to meet learning needs and post-go-live support.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in change management, business readiness, communications or operational transformation.
• Experience delivering communications and change for frontline/blue-collar workforce; remote/shift-based workforces valued.
• Strong capability in change impact assessment, readiness planning, stakeholder engagement, plain-English writing, risk management and adoption measurement.
• Experience translating complex information into simple, practical instructions for frontline employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead change impact assessments across roles, locations, partners, processes, systems, tools, skills and behaviours.
• Develop and maintain change, stakeholder and delivery plans with outcomes, activities, owners, milestones, dependencies, risks and success measures.
• Write clear, practical communications for technicians, field leaders, and operations, using accessible channels.
• Build trusted relationships with project sponsors, change owners, leaders, frontline reps and partners.
• Coordinate readiness plans covering leadership, workforce, process, systems, training, communications, support and deployment requirements.
• Assess readiness against gates and acceptance criteria, identify gaps and provide recommendations.
• Partner with training and operational teams to confirm learning needs and post-go-live support.
• Coach project teams, review artefacts, provide constructive challenge and improve delivery quality.
• Track reach, understanding, training completion, readiness and adoption metrics.
• Lead post-implementation reviews and capture lessons for future initiatives.
