Job summary

nbn is seeking an experienced Business Change and Readiness Lead to own the end-to-end change for initiatives, assessing impacts across people, process and technology, and coordinating integrated readiness plans.

You will tailor messages for frontline and blue-collar workers, create practical, plain-English materials, and build strong relationships with sponsors, leaders and partners to ensure readiness before deployment, while balancing safety and operational realities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, HR, organisational change or related discipline.
• Recognised change management qualification is desirable.
• Communications, project management, learning or facilitation qualifications desirable.
• Certifications or licences relevant to the role are viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end change approach for initiatives, assess impacts across people, processes and technology.
• Develop integrated change, engagement and readiness plans with clear ownership and milestones.
• Write clear, practical frontline communications for technicians, field leaders and partners.
• Build trusted relationships with project sponsors, change owners and operational leaders.
• Coordinate readiness plans covering leadership, workforce, training and deployment requirements.
• Assess readiness against gates, identify gaps and provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with training and operations to confirm learning needs and post-go-live support.
• Coach teams to improve consistency and quality of change delivery.
• Track adoption metrics and readiness outcomes to inform deployment decisions.
• Lead post-implementation reviews and capture lessons for future initiatives.
