Job summary

Rydges Pit Lane, part of EVT, is seeking a Full-Time Front Office Supervisor to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences across a vibrant hotel property in Australia.

You will supervise the Front Office team, manage occupancy and rates, and collaborate with Finance on credit policies while driving revenue through promotions and partner initiatives. A proactive, customer-focused leader will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in hotel front office operations, with leadership or supervisory exposure.
• Excellent guest service skills with a confident, professional demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Proven ability to lead, engage, and develop a team.
• Experience handling guest feedback and driving service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front Office operations to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Supervise Front Office team members and guide during peak periods.
• Monitor room availability, rate accuracy and billing instructions to maximise occupancy and compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure adherence to credit procedures and approve discounts where appropriate.
• Drive revenue opportunities through promotional strategies with hotel outlets and partners.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, uniform, and professional conduct.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of Front Office staff.

We are looking for a Full-Time Front Office Supervisor to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences and prompt resolution of guest needs and concerns.
• Supervise and support Front Office team members, providing guidance during peak periods and fostering a culture of service excellence.
• Monitor room availability, rate accuracy, and billing instructions to maximise occupancy, revenue, and compliance with credit policies.
• Liaise with Finance to ensure adherence to credit procedures and approve discounts, rebates, and upgrades where appropriate.
• Drive revenue opportunities by identifying and implementing promotional strategies in collaboration with hotel outlets and partners.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, uniform, and professional conduct across front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of Front Office colleagues, ensuring engagement through briefings, recognition, and team building.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1+ years of experience in hotel front office operations, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role within a fast-paced hotel or similar property.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service with confidence, professionalism, and a dynamic, vibrant personality.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with superior decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks, conflicting deadlines, and varying guest situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, with a focus on self-development and driving superior results through engagement and collaboration.
• Experience in managing guest feedback channels, resolving complaints, and driving continuous service improvement.
