National Rugby League (NRL) is seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead front desk operations and optimise guest experiences at a hospitality property. The role reports to the General Manager and focuses on service excellence, occupancy, and revenue growth.

You will lead a high-performing team, manage reservations, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest journeys and targeted promotions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading a Front Office team in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of reservations systems and guest services.
  • Experience with revenue management, yield optimisation, and inventory control.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.

  • Oversee daily Front Office operations, reservations, and guest enquiries.
  • Drive occupancy, room yield, and accommodation revenue performance.
  • Prepare and manage rosters in line with business demands and budgets.
  • Coordinate group bookings, room allocations, and special guest requirements.
  • Build relationships with guests, corporate clients, and local businesses.
  • Manage online booking channels and distribution platforms.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous service improvements.
  • Support hotel promotions, sales initiatives, and revenue opportunities.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for driving service excellence, optimising accommodation revenue, and leading a high-performing team across the property.

In the role you will:

Lead and develop the Front Office team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Oversee daily Front Office operations, reservations, and guest enquiries.

Drive occupancy, room yield, and accommodation revenue performance.

Prepare and manage team rosters in line with business demands and budgets.

Coordinate group bookings, room allocations, and special guest requirements.

Build strong relationships with guests, corporate clients, and local businesses.

Manage online booking channels and distribution platforms.

Work closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Monitor guest feedback and implement continuous service improvements.

Support the delivery of hotel promotions, sales initiatives, and revenue opportunities.

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience in a Front Office Manager or hotel leadership role.

Strong knowledge of hotel reservations systems and accommodation operations.

Experience in revenue management, yield optimisation, and inventory control.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.

Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Strong organisation and time management abilities.

Experience managing rosters, labour costs, and departmental budgets.

A commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
