Job summary

Porters Plainland Hotel is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to lead our FOH team during busy service periods in Queensland. You will supervise staff, maintain high service standards and contribute to smooth venue operations in collaboration with management.

This casual role offers approximately 25-30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours or full-time work for the right candidate. Evening, weekend and public holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience, supervisory or team leader preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• RSA certificate or willingness to obtain prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Front of House team during service.
• Lead, train and motivate waitstaff to deliver high-quality service.
• Ensure venue presentation and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Assist with staff coordination and shift management.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support management with daily operations and team development.
• Maintain compliance with venue procedures.
