Job summary

The Butler at Potts Point, from Applejack Hospitality Group, seeks an Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house teams and elevate guest experiences. You will roster staff, own the floor from reservations to waitlists, and uphold service excellence across shifts.

Responsibilities include coaching the team in Applejack’s service style, managing labour to budget, tracking KPIs, and ensuring RSA/RSF compliance and safety. This role offers growth and competitive tips.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years’ leadership experience in a premium/high-volume restaurant or bar.
Experience leading front-of-house teams and delivering standout guest experiences.
Knowledge of labour planning, budgets and POS systems.

Responsibilities

Lead, inspire and roster FOH teams to deliver standout guest experiences.
Own the floor from reservations to waitlists and ensuring smooth service.
Coach and develop your team in Applejack’s service style and upsell where appropriate.
Manage labour to budget and monitor KPIs to drive performance.
Ensure RSA/RSF compliance and venue safety protocols are followed.
Set opening/closing procedures, cash-ups and end-of-day processes.
