Job summary

Funlab is seeking Front of House / Function Hosts for Strike Bowling & Holey Moley in Charlestown. Be part of a fun, customer-focused team delivering memorable guest experiences while driving sales and ensuring smooth operations across bars, receptions, and events.

Applicants should bring energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for hospitality. Must have weekend and night availability, RSA/WWCC or willingness to obtain. Opportunities to learn and grow within a seven-day operation.

• Experience in customer service, hospitality or retail.
• Ability to build rapport with a diverse guest mix.
• Energetic, positive and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with energy and service mindset.
• Drive sales on every shift through upselling and guest engagement.
• Understand daily goals and collaborate with your team to succeed.
• Keep the venue well-stocked and ready to impress at all times.
• Own your space by being trained in all areas (bar, reception, functions).
• Follow safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and teammates safe.
• Go above and beyond to anticipate guest needs.

What you'll do:

• Create and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with your energy and top-tier service mindset
• Drive sales on every shift – smash targets through upselling, product knowledge and proactive guest engagement
• Understand daily goals and challenges, working with your team to succeed
• Take pride in your venue, making sure it’s well-stocked and ready to impress at all times
• Own your space! Be trained in all areas and whether you’re behind the bar, at reception, or running a function, you bring your A game!
• Follow all safety and compliance procedures to keep guests and your teammates safe
• Take the opportunities to go above and beyond and anticipate our guests’ needs

What you've got:

• Uniqueness and a passion for fun
• Energy, enthusiasm, positivity - and bucketloads of it!
• Customer service, hospitality or retail experience and a love for building customer rapport
• A love of interacting with a diverse range of guests - teens, kids and adults
• Great availability, must be available on weekends and nights
• A valid RSA and WWCC or keenness to get them!
