Job summary

Corrs Chambers Westgarth is expanding its Melbourne Projects team and seeks an Associate to focus on front end construction and infrastructure contracts. You will advise owners, government agencies, and private sector clients on procurement, negotiation, and drafting for major projects across Australia.

The role offers exposure to significant infrastructure and construction matters, direct client engagement, and mentoring within a leading independent Australian law firm.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Experience advising on front end construction, infrastructure or major project contracts.
• Strong technical capability with commercial judgement and advisory mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advise on front end construction and infrastructure contracts and procurement.
• Draft and negotiate contract documents and risk allocation for major projects.
• Provide advisory services across project lifecycle and delivery models.
