Job summary

Qantas, at its Adelaide Product Innovation Centre, seeks a hands-on Front-End Developer to build high-traffic customer-facing web applications. You will work on scalable systems powering digital experiences and ensure fast, secure services while adhering to design systems and reusable components.

With 3+ years in software engineering, you’ll tackle cloud-based design, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools, maintaining code quality and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role.
• Experience building high-traffic customer facing web applications.
• Experience with design systems and reusable components across repositories.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Experience with observability tools (Splunk/Datadog).
• Commitment to quality and clean code.
• Understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design.
• Desirable: Adobe Experience Manager and Edge Delivery Services.
• Desirable: GraphQL data usage.
