Job summary

Konnecting is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist in Yandina, Queensland to provide professional reception and admin support in a community-focused family practice. You will manage patient appointments, handle inquiries, maintain records, and assist doctors and nursing staff in a busy healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong administration, excellent customer service, and the ability to multitask while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative and organisational capabilities.
• Professional communication with patients and healthcare staff.
• Confidential handling of patient information and multitasking in a busy environment.
• Experience or willingness to learn Best Practice medical software.
• Availability to work varying weekly hours.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors in a professional manner and manage reception duties.
• Handle patient appointments, bookings, confirmations and scheduling changes.
• Answer calls, respond to general enquiries and direct messages to the appropriate staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide administrative support to clinicians.
