Job summary

Ofload, a FreightTech scaleup, is seeking a Sales Manager to build and lead a team of sales professionals in Sydney. You’ll set the sales strategy, coach the team on new-business selling, and be accountable for the numbers while also hunting your own pipeline and closing deals.

This hands-on leadership role requires a proven record in middle-mile freight sales, strong negotiation skills, and comfort using data to set targets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in middle-mile and road freight sales or business development.
• Minimum 2 years leading and developing a high-performing sales team.
• Strong commercial and negotiation instincts; data-driven target setting.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead and coach a team of sales professionals to hit targets.
• Hunt and close your own pipeline alongside team management.
• Set sales strategy and translate it into team OKRs.
• Own team pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership.
• Drive proactive new-business selling over passive account management.
• Manage strategic client relationships and close large deals personally.
