Job summary

Team Global Express is seeking a Forklift Operator / HC Driver to commence immediately in Gracemere, Rockhampton. This full-time permanent role runs Monday to Friday and focuses on forklift operations within our transport environment, with HC driving duties when required.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, prepping freight for delivery, completing checks and paperwork, and ensuring CoR compliant handling. Applicants must hold an LF licence; HC is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Forklift (LF) licence is required.
• HC licence or higher is highly regarded for additional duties.
• Experience operating forklifts in transport/logistics environments.
• Experience loading/unloading vehicles and containers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to safely load and unload vehicles, containers, trailers and PUDs.
• Load, unload and stage freight within operational areas.
• Prepare freight for delivery runs, ensuring correct, safe loading.
• Assist with container loading/unloading.
• Perform HC deliveries and semi-trailer coverage as required.
• Complete pre-start vehicle checks and transport paperwork.
• Ensure freight is secured per CoR requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Follow safety procedures, reporting hazards and incidents.
