HR or HC Truck Mounted Forklift Operator

JC Karriers is seeking an experienced Truck Mounted Forklift Operator to join our growing transport and logistics team based in Woombye, QLD. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company in the road transport industry. You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers across the region, operating HR and/or HC class vehicles with a rear truck-mounted forklift. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring timely and professional service delivery to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HR and/or HC class vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations in a safe and timely manner with our rear truck-mounted forklift.
• HR and/or HC Fulltime Position is predominantly truck-mounted forklift unloading Hebel and after building products.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues
• Use truck-mounted forklift equipment to load and unload freight at distribution points and customer locations
• Maintain accurate delivery records, documentation and GPS tracking systems
• Communicate professionally with customers and ensure goods are delivered in good condition
• Comply with all relevant road transport regulations, safety standards and company policies
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to minimise fuel consumption and meet delivery schedules
• Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain logbooks in accordance with transport legislation
