Job summary

DSV Air & Sea is seeking an Import Air Operator in Alexandria, NSW to join our global logistics team. You will work closely with the Import Air group to ensure accurate processing of shipments and high-quality service for our customers.

You will manage data entry into CW1, coordinate import workflows, and build strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and clients while meeting KPIs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in import air operations or air freight preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Proficiency with data entry and import workflow processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Import Air team to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
• Carry out import workflow processes per SOPs and customer instructions.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers, suppliers and service providers
• Problem solve Import Air issues with airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, and customers.
• Enter data into CW1 accurately and timely.
• Plan and prioritise Import shipments to meet milestones and KPIs.
• Coordinate transport requirements from CTO to delivery within KPI.
• Assist Air freight Manager with day-to-day activities and projects.

DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Import Air Operator in Alexandria, NSW

Key Tasks

• -Work together with Import Air team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered.
• -Carry out import workflow processes in accordance with management directive, customer instructions, SOPs, and specified requirements.
• -Establish and maintain strong client relationships with DSV customers (internal and external), suppliers and service providers both locally and overseas.
• -Ability to problem solve Import Air issues with a range of stakeholders including but not to limited: airlines, shipping lines, transport providers, co-loaders, and customers.
• -Enter data into CW1, accurately and in a timely manner.
• -Plan and prioritize Import shipments from the Import Workbenches in order to achieve milestone requirements, designated KPIs and deadlines.
• -Plan and prioritize transport requirements, from CTO to DSV, and DSV to the specified delivery, within KPI.
• -Calculate monetary issues such as invoice costings, GST, etc. and weights and measures in relation to load sizes, space availability, etc.Implement and monitor process improvements.
• -Support the Air freight Manager, Imports with day-to-day activities, and other reasonable tasks and projects as required, including liaising with the transit warehouse for availability of cargo for delivery.
