Job summary

Akcelo Australia is seeking a Freelance Account Director to join our Sydney office for an immediate start. You will lead strategy development and success metrics for clients and Akcelo, growing relationships and shaping strategic growth plans.

Daily work includes managing client portfolios, developing growth plans to exceed revenue targets, preparing forecasts, overseeing onboarding, and mentoring junior team members while ensuring timely delivery and budget alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing client portfolios within an agency environment.
• Entrepreneurial flair with drive to seek out growth opportunities.
• Willingness to embrace change and lead teams through transition.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and develop others while maintaining client focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client relationships within the assigned portfolio.
• Build and grow new and existing client relationships.
• Develop strategic client growth plans to exceed revenue targets.
• Prepare accurate client forecasts and implement growth plans.
• Meet clients regularly to understand business problems and opportunities.
• Oversee onboarding of new clients and retention of existing ones.
• Mentor, grow and oversee junior team members as required.
