Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Fraud & Scams Monitoring Analyst to join our ANZ team in either the Sydney or Perth hubs. The role involves managing external fraud risk, optimizing rules, and analysing transaction data to identify fraudulent activity across Australia & New Zealand.

You will report to the Operations Lead - Fraud & Scams Monitoring. Key responsibilities include analysing data to detect threats, investigating scam incidents and alerts, and supporting vulnerable customers through the scam

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in a Fraud &/or Scams monitoring role essential.
• Proven experience triaging fraud alerts, conducting investigations and reporting incidents.
• Experience reviewing transaction/login data to identify potentially fraudulent activity.
• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyse internal and external data to identify fraudulent behaviour and threats.
• Investigate and respond to scam incidents and fraud alerts.
• Analyse data to flag potentially fraudulent transactions and emerging trends.
• Perform post-investigation activities including loss assessments and recoveries.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers through the scam management lifecycle.
