Job summary

The Coffee Club is seeking a Queensland-based Franchise Support Trainer on a maternity leave contract through early July 2027. You will deliver training, coach Franchise Partners and support store openings across the network, blending hospitality leadership with people development.

You will travel regularly, with potential international travel, to drive operational excellence and learning outcomes in franchise operations.

Qualifications

Have you successfully led hospitality teams, coached others to achieve great results and enjoyed developing people along the way?

Join The Coffee Club as a Queensland-based Franchise Support Trainer, supporting Franchise Partners and store teams across our network.

Starting ASAP, this maternity leave contract runs until early July 2027, with potential to extend or become permanent. You’ll deliver training, coach Franchise Partners and support store openings and transitions, combining your hospitality experience with a passion for developing people.

About the role

As the Franchise Support Trainer, you will:

• Deliver The Coffee Club New Franchisee Training Program, ensuring training requirements and competencies are achieved.
• Support new store openings, resales and franchise ownership transitions across the network.
• Coach Franchise Partners and their teams on operational excellence, compliance, food safety and customer experience standards.
• Deliver engaging training both face-to-face and remotely.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training resources and learning materials.
• Support leadership capability through coaching, mentoring and Train-the-Trainer initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with Franchise Partners, store teams and Support Office stakeholders.
• Champion The Coffee Club Learning and Development Framework and reinforce best-practice operational standards across the network.

Regular interstate travel will be required, with potential for international travel depending on business needs. This may involve both driving and flying.

About you

You’re a credible hospitality leader who enjoys coaching others, building strong relationships and helping businesses succeed. You communicate confidently and can adapt your approach to suit different audiences and operating environments.

You will ideally bring:

• Experience in franchise operations, multi-site operations, learning and development, or a comparable operational support role within a food retail business.
• Strong operational knowledge across hospitality, food retail or franchising.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching skills.
• The ability to influence and build credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving capability and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A genuine passion for developing people and driving operational excellence.
• An understanding of food safety, compliance, and business performance drivers.
• Flexibility to travel regularly throughout Australia.
• A current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Experience within The Coffee Club network or a similar franchise environment will be highly regarded.
