Job summary
Bunnings Warehouse is seeking an Estimating Manager for the Minto Frame and Truss operation. You will lead the estimating team, oversee costings and align project delivery with customer requirements, timelines and commercial expectations.
You’ll partner with Commercial Sales, Customer Engagement and Manufacturing to ensure practical, well-communicated commitments are delivered, while developing team capability and improving the estimating experience.
Qualifications
- Experience reading architectural and construction plans.
- Experience leading and coaching a technical team.
- Ability to interpret plans accurately and apply codes.
- Knowledge of building codes and frame/truss products.
- Experience with estimating software and costings.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the estimating team and grow capabilities.
- Plan and allocate estimating projects to meet deadlines.
- Oversee quotations and costings, balancing margins and gross profit.
- Monitor performance and report on service levels and results.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve enquiries.
- Partner with Commercial Sales to understand products and services.
- Ensure the team stays current with design software and take-off methods.
- Improve systems and working practices from feedback and data insights.
- Support safe working practices and address safety risks.
