Job summary

Bunnings is seeking an Estimating Manager for its Minto operation in NSW. You will lead the estimating team, oversee quotations and costings, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Engagement and Manufacturing to meet customer requirements and commercial targets.

You will guide a mix of experience levels, develop capability, and shape how the team operates using design software and current take-off methods, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Experience in frame and truss estimating, detailing, design or related building/manufacturing environment.
Leadership experience coaching and developing a technical team.
Ability to read and interpret architectural/construction plans.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop the estimating team.
Plan and allocate estimating projects to meet deadlines and priorities.
Oversee quotations and costings with margin and gross profit focus.
Monitor estimating performance and report on service levels and commercial results.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to clarify requirements and improve end-to-end experience.
Partner with Commercial Sales to understand frame and truss products and capabilities.
Ensure the team uses current design software and take-off methods.
Drive improvements to systems and ways of working.
