Job summary

Silicon Quantum Computing Pty Ltd is seeking a senior FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, rolling forecasts and Board reporting from our Sydney facility. You will build core financial models and translate operational activity into actionable financial insight across research, engineering and operations.

You will own the transition to NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, develop scalable FP&A processes, and partner with senior leaders to drive strategic decisions in a fast-growing, deep-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Substantial FP&A or corporate finance experience in scaling/tech environments.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; ability to build complex models from scratch.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting; multi‑framework environments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build and maintenance of core financial models: budget, rolling forecasts, long-range plan across US GAAP & AASB.
• Lead monthly management reporting, variance analysis, KPI dashboards and commentary for Finance Director, CFO and Executive team.
• Partner with research, engineering and operations to build cost centre budgets and forecast accuracy.
• Develop and maintain capex and R&D spend models, forecast for tax incentives and grants.
• Build scenario and sensitivity models to support Board papers and funding decisions.
• Design FP&A processes, templates and a cadence appropriate to a fast-scaling org.
• Support transition to NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (EPM) with the Finance team and partners.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and business cases for management decisions (ROI, cost‑benefit).
• Act as a link between Finance and the business, owning detailed inputs and summary insights.
