Job summary

Silicon Quantum Computing (SQC) in Sydney is seeking an accomplished FP&A Manager to build the finance planning function from the ground up. You will own modelling, annual budget, rolling forecasts and board reporting, translating operational activity into actionable financial insight.

Based at our Sydney facility, you will partner across research, engineering and operations, shaping FP&A processes, dashboards and cost tracking within dual US GAAP and AASB frameworks.

Qualifications

• Substantial FP&A, financial modelling or corporate finance experience.
• Experience in scaling/tech or deep-tech environment is a plus.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; build models from scratch.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build and maintenance of core financial models and forecasts.
• Lead monthly management reporting and KPI dashboards.
• Partner with budget holders to build cost centre budgets and forecasts.
• Develop capex/R&D spend models and grant funding forecasting.
• Build scenarios for Board papers and strategic decisions.
• Implement FP&A processes and reporting cadence for a growing org.
• Support transition to NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (EPM).
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and business cases for decisions.
• Act as a link between Finance and the business with clear insights.
