Job summary

Australian Payments Plus is seeking an FP&A Analyst to partner with Finance Business Partners, performing budgeting, forecasting and financial reviews. You will translate data into clear insights to support decision-making and drive profitability across the business.

Collaborating with operational teams, you will ensure robust financial controls, contribute to business cases, and support commercial initiatives while leveraging industry knowledge in payments technology.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
• CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis is required.
• Knowledge of financial controls and compliance is desirable.
• Understanding of payments technology and financial services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and report on budgeting, forecasting and financial reviews with a focus on profitability drivers.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identify variances and trends, and translate activity into insights.
• Support commercial agreements and business cases with accurate financial analysis.
• Partner with operational teams and Finance Partners to understand business needs and provide financial support.
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with policies, tax and treasury requirements.
• Deliver actionable insights and contribute to continuous improvement of reporting and analysis.
