Catherine McAuley Primary School, Medowie is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Library Assistant to join the founding team of our brand-new Catholic primary school. This permanent part-time role (15 hours per week) commences in Term 1, 2027, with days negotiable.

You will support the day-to-day operation of the school library, assist with organisation and maintenance of library resources, circulation services, displays and promotions, and the creation of an engaging learning environment for

Formación

• ALIA accredited qualification, preferably at the diploma level.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Completion of anaphylaxis training.
• Recent experience in a school library with OLIVER cataloguing.
• Knowledge of WHS requirements in a library setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to show initiative and work independently or in a team.
• Flexible approach to completion of tasks with interruptions.
