Job summary

Trinity Catholic College Auburn in NSW is seeking a Permanent Library Assistant (Level 4) to support the Senior Campus Library. The role is 70 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a strong focus on welcoming learners and delivering efficient library services.

You will bring library administration experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and be committed to supporting a Catholic, inclusive learning environment. WWCC clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in library administration and resource management.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise in a busy environment.
• Advanced computer literacy (MS Office and Google Suite) with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Willingness to support the Catholic environment and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming library support and administer library resources for students and staff.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure smooth daily library operations.
• Assist with learning environment needs and user inquiries.
