Job summary

Googong High School in the Queanbeyan area of New South Wales is seeking a Careers Adviser to join its founding Pathways and Academy team. The role focuses on developing flexible curriculum and pathways aligned with Careers qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.

As a founding member, you will help establish pathways design, partner with external providers, and contribute to a contemporary curriculum built on learning sciences.

Qualifications

• Approval to teach Careers or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Careers qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
• Excellent understanding of the changing career needs of students and the ability to contribute to a curriculum which is tailored to support all students in their learning pathway.
• Exemplary personal, interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven ability to build relationships with both students, staff and external providers to strengthen a school’s curriculum offerings.
