Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead Foster and Kinship Care services across Gympie and Maroochydore, driving service excellence, supporting teams and improving outcomes for children, young people and carers.

Reporting to the Group Manager, you will oversee operations, ensure compliance with legislation and contracts, build partnerships with Child Safety and community stakeholders, manage budgets and risks, and champion continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in Foster and Kinship Care, Out of Home Care or Child Protection.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing service delivery, operational performance and compliance.
• Sound understanding of child protection legislation and contemporary practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop teams across Gympie and Maroochydore.
• Drive a positive, child-focused and trauma-informed culture.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.
• Build strong partnerships with Child Safety, carers and community stakeholders.
• Manage service performance, workforce planning, budgets and risk.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation across the service.
