Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland in Maroochydore is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead Foster and Kinship Care services across Gympie and Maroochydore, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for children and families.

You will oversee operations, workforce planning, budgets and compliance, while building strong partnerships with Child Safety, carers and community stakeholders. A relevant degree and current Blue Card are required, with travel across the region expected.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Social Work or related discipline.
• Experience in Foster and Kinship Care or child protection.
• Knowledge of child protection legislation and contemporary practice frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop teams across Gympie and Maroochydore.
• Drive a child-focused, trauma-informed culture.
• Ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with legislation and contracts.
• Build partnerships with Child Safety, carers and community stakeholders.
• Manage service performance, workforce planning, budgets and risk.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovation across the service.
